I am so happy to announce that the PHOTO BOOTH is finally event ready!!
The design process has been kind of long but I love working with my hands so I enjoyed every step of the way. (Also I've probably taken more selfies in the last month than the rest of my life up until I starded this project.)
This photo booth is so much fun!!
The booth can operate in a few different ways but my favorite is as a "GIF photo booth". That's the ones that move (Remember the photos in Harry Potter? Well that's a little different but you get the idea.)
Alex and I have spent a few hours testing the different settings and absolutely laughed the most during the GIF phase of tests. This style of booth is a hilariously awesome way to capture a guest book at your next event!
When you approach the booth you are greeted by a screen that says "Tap to Start Booth" once you tap a count down timer starts and it instructs you to look at the camera.
SNAP! SNAP! SNAP! SNAP!
It takes your photo or GIF and shows you a preview. At this time you have the option to retake your session OR you can enter your phone number / email and if the venue has WiFi you will receive your Facebook and Instagram ready image in a matter of moments! After the event, the party host will receive a gallery with every image from the night!

Future expansion of the photo booth will include a prop box, printer, an auxiliary power unit and a mobile hot spot.
