Jennifer's grandpa gets the award for my favorite wedding detail of this season! (Actually I don't think there is an award for that, but if there were he would get it!) He has wanted this tractor since the 1960's when working for John Dear but couldn't afford one at the time. So a few months ago when he saw one up for auction he headed out to Montana to pick it up for the special job of pulling a cart for Jennifer and her father ride in during his granddaughters wedding.
That's the first half of this wedding story. The cart is also awesome, about 200 years old and sentimental. It originally belonged to Jennifer's Great Great Grandfather and has been beautifully restored. All the iron is original as is much of the wood. That's a lot of family history in a tractor and buggy!
