When it comes to capturing the magic of a wedding, the setting and timing are everything. For Eric and Ellen, their intimate evening wedding at DanWalt Gardens in Billings, MT, was nothing short of enchanting. As a wedding photographer, it was a dream to photograph such a beautiful, personal event surrounded by nature's beauty and the golden light of a summer evening.

Six years! It’s been six years since the last time I was out at Mooncrest Ranch to photograph a wedding. That means I’ve been a wedding photographer for over six years now!
Ever since that first time, I’ve wanted to go back to Mooncrest and it’s held a spot in my list of top 5 favorite wedding venues.
Mooncrest is an intimate wedding venue tucked way up a private canyon north of Buffalo Bill Reservoir not far from Cody, WY.
