Breakfast in Red Lodge, Mt.

To keep myself shooting and shake things up I occasionally take photojournalistic assignments in the area to create content for whoever the client may be. I love working in Red Lodge so it made a call time of long before sunrise a little less painful.

Red Lodge definitely has that Montana small town mountain feeling. It started snowing as the sun was rising and I got this portrait of "Wild Bill" when chatting with him at the diner. It has the same feel as that morning in the little diner so I thought I would share it.

I love that photography has the power to preserve a time and place.

This 6 am portrait of Bill is similar to the candid portraits I take at every wedding. I want you to be able to feel like you know who the person in the photograph is and what it was like to be in the situation with them. If a portrait can give a hint of who the person is and help show the mood and feeling of a situation then I've done my job.
