Quaking Aspen Ranch, Outdoor Wedding - Absarokee, MT
A few weeks back, when fall was just starting to reveal its’ self out at Quaking Aspen Ranch, Marina & Andrew were married. It was a beautiful and intimate wedding filled with many smiles and lots of laughter!
You can see the connection and trust that Marina & Andrew have by the way they look at each other and how they interact. From the very beginning of the relationship, Andrew knew he had met someone special and that’s probably why he decided to propose on the night they met!
It’s fascinating how your ideal clients always find you.
This wedding was stress free, simple yet elegant, and full of charm; much like the newly weds themselves.
On the initial consultation I always ask if the couple has had an opportunity to review my portfolio and what they noticed about my images. From the way Marina described what she was looking for in her wedding photography and the things she pointed out from my portfolio, I knew we would be a great fit!
She was looking for:
Real authentic moments
Plenty of black & white images
Candid connections
Funny interactions
Photos that let you relive the experience
After hearing what she was looking for and the way she talked about photography, I wasn’t at all surprised to learn that she had studied the craft. I was beyond flattered when she compared aspects of my portfolio to some of my photographic hero’s.
It feels so good to walk into a wedding knowing that your clients have complete trust in the work that you will be creating for them.
It’s time to que up a few favorite love songs and take a look at the wedding!
Enjoy!
Quaking Aspen Ranch - Out door wedding
Absarokee, MT
Quaking Aspen Ranch has been on my list for years and I’m so happy I have finally had the opportunity to photograph a wedding at this beautiful venue. It is, hands down, one of the best outdoor wedding venues in the area!
Lincoln and Judi, the owners, are kind and professional. The first time I talked with them I learned several tricks that I’m excited to implement next season. They are focused on quality over quantity, and limit the venue to about 10 weddings per year. That way they can make sure every wedding they host is prefect.
The catering and bar services they offer are also impressive. Dinner was excellent and the bar had a good selection of options.
Oh, and the rustic barn would make great backup wedding ceremony location in case of inclement weather.
Another thing worth noting, is the ability for 43 guests to stay on site! The glamping tents looked fun and each had a queen bed with a sofa and a private bath. That way if you want to party, you can do so responsibly!
