In between a few destination weddings this summer, I got a phone call from Blair Explaining that her and Andy had decided to elope over the next few days during a visit to Clark, WY when visiting her parents. The timing could not have worked out better (actually if the timing was any different I would not have had the opportunity to photograph them in Wyoming) and after a phone call, we had a plan set and two days later I headed down to Wyoming for the wedding!
This wedding was so small and intimate and I loved it. The eight of us jumped onto four wheelers and quads and headed up to the summit of Bald Peak, about a 5 mile ride, for the ceremony.
The wedding ceremony happened next to a tree the family had been visiting for years and has been appropriately named "The Kodak Moment Tree" you can see it in the background of a few of the images below.
After the wedding ceremony, we took about an hour to go take photos with the amazing backdrop of the Rocky Mountains.
I'm so glad I finally got the opportunity to create some work between Cody and Billings. I have always loved that drive, the Rocky Mountains are breathtaking and I try to make it up the Beartooh Pass at least a few times a year if I have the opportunity.
