PHO·TO·JOUR·NAL·ISM

/ˌfōdōˈjərnəˌlizəm/ noun

The art or practice of communicating events & stories using photographs.

THE HOW!!! - Capturing the candid moments that tell your wedding story is my number one goal so that you can relive your day time and time again. My second goal is to create some beautiful portraiture that you can hang on the wall all while helping you to feel comfortable in front of the camera.

Your wedding is extremely important and you will be telling the story for the rest of your lives.

As a photojournalist, I focus on capturing that story through candid moments of interactions and details allowing you to relive all the wonderful memories from your special day. When my clients say that the photos bring them back and allow them to relive the wedding I smile knowing that the work I created will be precious to the family for years to come.

If you are like many of my clients, you might not be 100% comfortable in front of a camera. Don’t worry I will help you with that! I’ve developed a system that puts you at ease and assists you in looking and feeling natural on your wedding day. You’ll forget the camera is even there!

The goal of photojournalism is to

photographs can be understood by everyone

Photojournalism is about telling real stories. Those stories can be told the easiest when the photographer simply captures what is happening in front of him.

To get unique pictures, the photojournalist has to enter a world, that would leave most people too afraid to enter. He has to have the guts, to overcome his own fears and get close to his subjects.

Another LARGE part of weddings is what I like to call the “Mom & Dad” shots.
